Labor and employment law practice with emphasis on representing employers in matters involving litigation including defense of wrongful discharge and discrimination claims, non-subscriber negligence claims, managing employee relations and representing employers before state and federal agencies. Practice includes and extends to providing regular advice and litigation services to local government clients including school districts and other local government employers. Responsible for managing all aspects of numerous employment discrimination lawsuits in both state and federal court, including claims arising under Title VII, The Americans with Disabilities Act, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act, The Fair Labor Standards Act, Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. section 1983, The New Mexico Human Rights Act, The Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, and related equal employment opportunity laws.

Review and response to employee grievances for clients and advice to those clients on issues created by employment contracts, appraisal and review systems and issues arising in the context of termination of employment.
