Provides daily HR support to multiple Manufacturing facilities located in Mexico. Partners with Corporate Human Resources and Business/Functional leaders to develop and implement Human Resource initiatives and policies in line with Company strategy that support the achievement of business goals. Communicates and consults on all areas of Human Resources including compliance, compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, employee development and performance management in alignment with common Human Resources strategies and processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with business leadership to translate current and future business goals and develops initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resource strategies and processes.
Manages Tecma business relationship for administrative services related to employment (payroll, benefits, recruitment, etc). Drives the recruitment, pre-screening/testing, selection,
Manages the results-based performance management process, training and development programs for the site. Provides coaching and counseling on the need for continuous communication and alignment on objectives and expectations between supervisors and associates.
Partners with leaders on planning and executing robust succession planning in line with corporate HR strategy.
Maintains compliance with Company policies and procedures. Investigates and resolves conflicts by coaching and counseling on human resource matters.
Develops and implements employee relations initiatives including recognition and engagement activities aimed at creating a safe and inclusive working environment that aids in the effectiveness and retention of all associates.
Assists the Site Leader with the compliance of the EHS Programs and injured employees on methods to reduce claim losses and repeat accidents/injuries.
Initiates and conducts labor market research for the availability of human resources and salary information for specific trades and professions.
Responsible for maintaining the personnel files.
Acts as a project manager for various HR initiatives.
|Minimum Qualifications *
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or related field required
• HR Certification is preferred
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Mexico Employment Laws is required. Hands-on HR experience within the states of Chihuahua and Baja California a plus
• 8 years of Human Resources Management Level experience in a manufacturing setting is required
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Regular travel to Mexico is required
• The ability to read and speak fluent Spanish is required
