Jennifer was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Franklin High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Webster University.

Jennifer has been with ADP for 11 years and is currently a Client Service Manager II in the Benefits & Talent Solution Center. She leads a team of eleven analysts that support a book of business of over 60 million dollars. She is very passionate about associate growth and development and encourages her team to aim high. This is her fourth year on the EPSHRM Board, she is both honored and grateful to serve as President for the Chapter this year. She is active in the ADP Community Pillar, which brings awareness to social responsibility initiatives. Jennifer is aligned with the Children’s Grief Center of El Paso and has helped to raise over $10,000 for the non-profit organization over the past two years.   In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering and giving back to the El Paso community, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Art Gloria is currently the Associate Human Resources Director at Emergence Health Network. Mr. Gloria is a leader at heart since a young age serving in various leadership roles throughout his academic career. While attending undergrad at the University of Texas at El Paso where he earned his degree in Political Science, he was elected Student Body President and served in the UT System Student Advisory Board were he played a critical role in the development of a Student Regent Representative position. Art also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Regents University in London along with other certifications. He still continues to be very involved in various city wide philanthropic initiatives and is honored to be the 2019 El Paso Society for Human Resources Management President-Elect and the El Paso Chamber 2019 Co-Chair for Leadership El Paso, El Paso’s premier leadership incubator.

Claudia has lived in El Paso her entire life and is proud to be from this region. Claudia has proudly been part of EPSHRM since 2009 and has served in various functions on the Board. Claudia previously served EPSHRM as the Chapter Self Study Certification Director in 2014. Claudia served as the EPSHRM Treasurer in 2015 as well as the Vice President of Membership in 2016. Recently, Claudia served as the President – Elect in 2017 and looking forward to serving as the President in 2018.

Claudia has over 14 years of experience in the HR field and has worked in all aspects of the HR Field. Claudia is employed by Charter Communications and currently provides Strategic and Human Resources support to her Business Partners in El Paso, Texas. In addition, Claudia is also a PT Facilitator at the University of Phoenix for the last 9 years and facilitates Undergraduate and Master level courses in Management, Operations Management and Human Resources.

Claudia holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Claudia also has her PHR and SHRM-CP certifications.

Claudia has also volunteered and fundraised for the Alzheimer’s Association, participated in the Spectrum Housing Assist along with the American Red Cross and loves to participate in Christmas Cheer!

Claudia has been married to Ramon Camacho for the last 23 years, has 4 children (Raymond, Anthony, Alex and Sam) and a baby grandson (Baby Raymond).

Vanessa Gonzalez is a Denver, Colorado native who has lived in El Paso for the past 12 years. She has been in the HR field for the past 12 years working at ADP. Her first 11 years at ADP she worked under the National Account sector supporting multimillion clients with over 1,000 employees. She recently moved in the Major Accounts supporting HR & Benefit Services. She leads the Community Pillar for ADP where she works to liaison ADP associates to charities in the El Paso community. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Social Phycology and Human Resources from Park University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Silvia born in Los Angeles, CA then raised in El Paso, TX. The Sun City is near and dear to her as an HR Professional. She graduated from Burges High School, go Mustangs!  She has been employed with ADP for an amazing 10 years now. Through her tenure she has had several roles with in the organization that she has felt enhanced her business acumen as well aligned me to strategically provide clients best practice in different aspects or their organization primarily Benefits, Recruitment and garnishment support. In 2015 she obtained her Certification as a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist. This is her first year on the EPSHRM board as Treasurer and she couldn’t be more excited to be part of this growing team! During spare time she loves to volunteer, with charities such as Make a Wish Foundation as a “Wish Granter” and with Junior Achievement by enhancing the lives of children in our community by teaching them the importance of staying in school. She also enjoys reading and most of all spending time with her two beautiful children Brianna and Brandon.

Manny was born in Ft. Worth, TX but raised in El Paso since childhood. He graduated from Parkland High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Park University. A few years later he earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix. He has been employed with ADP for approximately 8 years and has held different roles within the organization ranging from implementation to the role he has now. He is honored and excited at the opportunity to service as VP of Membership this year.  In his spare time he enjoys being with family, friends, his two dogs (Rocky and Marla) and traveling when time permits.

Born and raised El Pasoan, attended Franklin High School and holds a Bachelor in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources from UTEP and a Master's in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Bryan served as the UTEP SHRM Chapter President, leading the organization to receive the Superior Merit Award and appearances at HR Southwest and other SHRM Regional Student Conferences. 

Upon graduation, Bryan held various roles as a local professional recruiter, a staffing manager for healthcare professionals in West Texas and Southern New Mexico, and a career counselor for service members at Fort Bliss in their transition into the civilian workforce.

Bryan has been with ADP for 4 years, offering best practices and human resources technology services to U.S. business clients . He has earned the PHR-California and SHRM-CP certifications as well as a certifications in payroll and healthcare reform. Moreover, last year he completed ADP El Paso's Emerging Leader Program. 

Bryan is an active volunteer in the community with Junior Achievement and his church.  His hobbies include movies, travel, sports, networking, and being an uncle.

Linda is a native El Pasoan. A graduate of El Paso High and the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching Certification. She has taught in Austin, Ft. Hancock, and El Paso, TX. In January of 2002, Linda received her PHR certification credentials in Human Resources. In February 2002, Linda received her Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix at Santa Teresa, NM. Linda has more than 20 years experience in management working in the private sector for companies such as: Beatrice, Swift Independent, ACME Boot (division of Fruit of the Loom), International Multifoods, Greyhound Lines, Inc., and West Corporation, as well as the public sector teaching at Doña Ana Branch Community College, specializing in Management and Supervisory training. Linda works for River Oaks Properties as the HR Manager and is an instructor at the University of Phoenix, facilitating courses in Management and Human Resources. As the Certification Director for EPSHRM, Linda is the liaison between the chapter and UTEP. In addition, Linda is active in course instruction for the PHR/SPHR certification course at UTEP.

Born, raised and educated in El Paso. Ralph graduated from Ysleta High School, and completed his B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from UTEP in 2011. Ralph’s career in human resources started as an internship with the County of El Paso, where he demonstrated his passion and abilities as an HR professional. He was soon hired to an entry level position with the County’s HR department, and was quickly promoted to HR Generalist.

Throughout his nearly 6 year HR employment history with the County of El Paso, Ralph severed in various capacities including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Benefits, Risk Management, and HR Generalist to the Sheriff’s Office.  While employed with the County of El Paso, Ralph completed his Master’s in Public Administration from UTEP in 2015.  

In August 2017, Ralph made the transition from public to private sector by accepting a position with Charter Communications. Currently Ralph is employed as an HR Generalist providing human resources support to the Customer Care Division of Charter Communications (Spectrum).

This is Ralph’s second year serving on the board, but he has been a member of EPSHRM since 2012, and a member of UTEP-SHRM before that. During his free time he enjoys off-roading, and taking his dog (Molly Grace) on long walks.

Luis Navarro’s professional career is composed of more than 17 years of Customer Service experience to include 10 years as a manager leading a variety of teams. This includes various degrees of success and growth in each chapter of his professional journey.

Luis is currently an HR and Benefits Consultant servicing ADP’s top 1% clientele for its  Majors Division.  Luis consults on HR related topics to include  Benefits, Performance, Recruitment, and Talent, on a corporate scale.

Luis was born and raised in El Paso, TX, he’s a family man that enjoys time with his wife, son, and mother in-law. When he is not with friends and family he loves to give back to the community through various charities around the city. Currently Luis is a Wish Granter with Make A Wish granting wishes to children with life threatening illnesses.

Cynthia Swinney is in her second year as Diversity Director with EPSHRM. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology from Purdue University and her Master of Science degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development from the Naval Postgraduate School. Cynthia is a retired Naval Officer with over 10 years of Human Resource experience in manpower/position compensation and requirements analysis, Navy Telework program development and management, and recruiting, plus another 10 years as a Naval helicopter pilot. She received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2011 and SHRM-Certified Professional (CP) certification in 2015. Cynthia currently serves as the Director of Finance at ADP where she manages, inspires, and leads a diverse workforce of motivated professionals.

Fred Perea has over 15 years of professional level experience in Human Resource management.  His focus is leading teams specifically specializing in the areas of employee relations, organizational development, and talent management.   Fred has worked in HR leadership roles in the non-profit, public, and private sectors at organizations including The Home Depot, Inc., TFCU, and the County of El Paso, TX.  Since 2017, Fred joined the HR team at Helen of Troy, a leading global consumer products company, with corporate offices located in El Paso, Texas where he supports global shared services as an HR Business Partner.  He has served on the Board of Directors for the El Paso Society for Human Resources Management and served as President from 2011-2013, and in 2018 as Secretary.  Fred strongly believes in community engagement and supporting the needs of the community of El Paso, TX and Southern New Mexico. Luz A. Muñoz is an Accounting Manager with AT&T and was previously the Community Mobilization Program Director at the West Texas Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and has over 16 years of managerial experience including managing bargained employees. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.S. in Management from Park University.  She is currently pursuing a MBA with a focus in Human Resources from Webster University.  She is an active member of the Women of Finance, 2nd VP for the Desert Stars Chapter of AT&T Pioneers, member of various Employee Relations Groups as well as participating in various mentoring circles and leadership trainings.  Her interests in HR come from her love of law, fairness, diversity and doing the right thing.   Luz is an El Paso native and supporter of charitable organizations that help women and children in her community.  She organizes a yearly toy drive to benefit the Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home.  Luz is married to George Muñoz and has 2 beautiful daughters.  She is a softball mom who enjoys spending time with family, party planning and entertaining, reading and traveling.

Juan was born in Cd. Juarez and is a graduate of El Paso High School. Immediately after graduation, Juan left El Paso for active duty service with the United States Marine Corps and was stationed across the U.S. and abroad working logistics. Juan eventually stayed in Southern California, and his production and operations career gradually expanded across various industries including working for Titleist Golf, Callaway Golf, the U.S. Postal Service, Toyota, and Marine Corps Community Services.

Juan later began working as the HR Manager for Hilton Hotels and Senior Resource Group at the corporate offices in California, and with the Child Crisis Center of El Paso. Meanwhile, Juan became an active member of North County Human Resources-San Diego and served as the Vice President of Professional Development before returning home to El Paso. As a member of EPSHRM over the past year, Juan has volunteered much of his time with Centurion Military Alliance, UTEP-SHRM, Onward 2 Opportunity, and the USO to assist transitioning military with resume reviews and mock interviews.

Juan earned both his Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) from Park University and a Master of Science in Administration degree with an HR concentration from Central Michigan University aboard Camp Pendleton, California. Juan’s higher education experience includes developing and instructing the Business of Hospitality Certificate program with California State University San Marcos, and Park University where he has taught graduate and undergraduate business courses at Camp Pendleton, El Paso, Fort Bliss, and online in HR and business management.
